This suite is dedicated to Baron Andrien de Thoisy, whose name is engraved on the monument of remembrance of veterans of the Great War of 1914-1918 in the village of Maillat.
Valiant cavalry captain, he was struck with a mortal wound in June 1918 at the head of his battalion.
He stayed at the Château de Maillat from 1902 to 1918.
